JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

THEME: BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY.

Beloved, let us start from this eternal truth that "the blessing of the Lord is not followed by any sorrow". Poverty, this great curse, is one of the major problems of Christians to the point where even people of the world question our faith in Jesus Christ.

However, the Christian is called to be very rich financially and prosperous in all respects. The proof is that in Galatians 3:13 it is written that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Which is to say that in Jesus Christ, we are no longer cursed as some Christians might still believe, but we are rather blessed and heirs of the posterity of Abraham according to faith by the grace of God. This is why the Christian should live in abundance of riches in all areas of his life.

Is this the case? When we observe certain situations experienced by Christians, we realize that they are always threatened by poverty in many areas of their lives. Alas! The problem comes from ourselves, because for some, it is due to a lack of faith and for others, the fact of having the law as a pedagogue.

However, the Bible reveals to us that he who is under the law has fallen from grace and Christ in this case is of no use to him. This is the reason why the Christian must look at situations by faith; because he receives all his blessings from God by faith; faith without which we cannot please him!

Now, let us note that our God is a God of principles. Indeed, it is he who gives who receives (Luke 6:38) and in this context, the Christian is blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ through what he exercises as activity. In other words, it is not the work that we exercise that blesses us, but it is God who blesses us through this work. And we are more rewarded when we work in the house of the Lord Jesus Christ because it happens, even in a revealed way, that it is what we do in the house of the Lord that gives us to be blessed outside and to prosper.

Furthermore, regarding finances, when we honor the Lord with our tithes and our offerings, it is then that he ensures that the devourer is driven out of our finances while opening the windows of heaven for us, hence our prosperity.

Ultimately, we must be like God by faith in order to inherit His promises as sons of Abraham and prosper in every way.

Let us remain abundantly blessed in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen
