JESUS ​​CHRIST IS LORD

THEME: YOUR INTIMACY WITH THE FATHER WILL BE YOUR PROTECTION AND SUCCESS.

Beloved, according to the word of God, Jesus revealed GOD to us as the Father and it is through him that we receive all things in heaven: graces and blessings. But then, we must understand that only a child who develops his intimate relationship with his father can benefit from certain favors compared to other children in the same house.

In the same way, it is when we have an intimate relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ that we enjoy his graces in all respects and the Lord always takes care to protect us as he did with Israel led by Moses in the desert.

God, to help us understand how He acts in our life, uses images. Thus, it is written in Psalm 91:2-4 that when we make the Lord our refuge and our fortress, then he in return protects us from the snare of the fowler and covers us with his wings because his faithfulness is a shield and a breastplate.

In other words, for God to cover you with his wings, you must become a little bird since he himself is a bird at that moment; and in this case, the Christian is an eaglet and God the eagle. This image allows us to understand how the people of Israel crossed the Jordan on dry land, while the Egyptian chariots and horses got stuck. This is what Exodus 14:24-25 / Deuteronomy 29:4 reveals to us.

We too in Jesus Christ, when we make the Lord our Father and develop our intimacy with him then he also arranges to always help us in distress and to watch over all our needs according to the immense riches of his grace.

In plain language, the wings are the symbol of the grace of GOD that only the sons of grace enjoy the unmerited favors of the Father.

That being said, our attitude in prayer must change. We must come into the presence of God considering Him as our Father as Jesus reveals Him in the book of John 17:11 and 25-26. We must know that at the mere mention of God as Father who already knows everything we need, the only thing left for us to do is to tell Him about the One He loves, Jesus, “the album of the universe”. Thus, we will see His grace and favors manifested abundantly in all respects in our requests.
