JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
THEME: STOP STRUGGLING ALONE.
Beloved, the real problem that Christians face is that of faith. And in this regard, a Christian life without trials or struggles is a decoy because the Bible reveals to us that we have before us the enemy always seeking to thwart or destroy God's plan for us, hence the fight of faith.
Moreover, it is specified in the word of GOD that what triumphs over the world is our faith. To clarify, every Christian at the start of his encounter with Christ receives faith like a grain of mustard seed; but the problem is not receiving faith but the one on whom we place our faith.
Now, in whom do we place our faith? For many Christians it is in their problems. This is why they do not move forward and stagnate in life.
Yet, in Matthew 17:20-21, to recall the context, Jesus is indignant that his disciples were unable to cast out a demon on a child who was once epileptic; until he himself did it. He exclaims and makes them understand that this was not possible because of their unbelief. Now, as he exhorts them in the same chapter, he tells them that if they have faith like a grain of mustard seed (or mustard in other biblical versions) then they would order the mountain and it would throw itself into the sea. This is also the same challenge that the Lord Jesus makes with us, Christians facing problems or situations because Nothing is impossible for the one who believes. Because, we have Christ in us or behind us when faced with a problem. The problem is that we are not sufficiently aware of who we are in Christ, but we have through Jesus Christ all the authority necessary to overturn mountains (problems). And faith establishes the link between GOD and us through Jesus Christ. If nothing is impossible for God; then it must be the same for us and even if fear makes us see the impossibility in a situation, faith, as for it, makes us see the opportunity. This is why the apostle Paul could boast of his weaknesses; because he was aware that behind him he had a force: Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Sometimes GOD allows a situation to be before us because he wants us to reverse it and be built up in relation to what we will be called to face in the future.
This is why we must always fix our eyes on him whatever the situations, having the assurance and the awareness that he is always there for us. Therefore, the attitude of faith wants what we do to be a demonstration of his presence in our life since he is faithful in his word which says that he will not abandon us or forsake us.
So, let's stop looking at ourselves; but at GOD by looking at our problems with the eyes of faith to always be helped in favorable or unfavorable times in order to always triumph by faith in every situation of our lives (Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the mountains from where my help comes; my help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth). Because there is no common measure between the sufferings of this present life and the glory to come revealed to us (Romans 8:18).
May the name of Jesus Christ be glorified in our lives!
Amen
