JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

THEME: THE POWER OF GOD'S LOVE.

Beloved, all that we benefit from in faith is the merit of no one except Jesus Christ, the author of GOD's grace and love.

Indeed, God does not judge us on the basis of what we do but shows us his love by what JESUS did on the cross for us. And for this, the Christian is strong if he is aware that GOD loves him unconditionally because GOD's love covers in all respects because of Jesus Christ. This is the reason why it is written in Romans 5:8-9 that GOD proves his love towards us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us: what an unconditional and so wide love that GOD pours out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit!

So in this context, if we say we love GOD (love for God), then we run the risk of seducing ourselves somewhat because we are limited by our human condition.

The proof is that our feelings often waver on our vis-à-vis but GOD has no shadow of variation in his love for us. Moreover, it is the love of GOD that pushes us to love him and to love our brothers unconditionally. The love of GOD is therefore proven by the care we bring to our brothers and sisters, to his sheep and his people. (The biblical story of Peter verifies it: Peter, do you love me? Feed my sheep Cf John 21:16)

What we must fundamentally understand is that the love of GOD is demonstrated through the sacrifice of Jesus. As beloved, we are strong when we are aware of the love of GOD and we can rejoice in what the Lord gives us not to be exposed to sins and this is why we must not judge our brothers when they have fallen but rather help them to get up and move forward in faith. This is what the Lord himself recommends to us. In this regard, Peter betrayed Jesus Christ but because he was aware that Jesus loves him then he returned to him and on his instruction threw the trap into the water at the indicated side and thus caught many fish. Jesus did not reject him but welcomed him to his side and this is what GOD does with us every day because of Jesus Christ. Paul, likewise, sees himself as the least of Christians because he persecuted the people of GOD, the first sinner among others and the least of the apostles among the apostles and this is what earned him to be elevated in grace and power by the favor of GOD. This invites us to humble ourselves before GOD if we want to be elevated.

In conclusion, let us know that GOD loves us unconditionally and is no longer angry with us. Each time, we must be aware of this and this is what will give us to be more than conquerors through the one who justifies us by his blood (Jesus Christ) against the wiles of satan.

May the name of Jesus Christ be glorified in our lives! Amen
