JESUS-CHRIST IS LORD

THEME: UNLEASH THE POWER OF FAITH.

Beloved, 1 Timothy 6:12 reveals that the good fight a Christian is called to fight is that of faith because it is by it that as children of God we lay hold on the eternal life to which we are called for eternity. To add to this introduction, 1 John 5:4-5 teaches us that whatever is born of GOD overcomes the world; and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith and he who overcomes believes at the same time that Jesus is the son of GOD.

Indeed, we understand that the righteous of GOD cannot get by without faith since it is by it that he brings invisible things to the visible.
If we simply start from the postulate that faith comes from what we hear, and that what we hear comes from the word of Christ then faith simply comes from the things we hear from God.

On the other hand, listening to the world gives free rein to unbelief which will carefully take place in our hearts. Thus, because of unbelief, many Christians fail in many situations that they face on a daily basis. (Matthew 17:20).

Moreover, let us understand that the faith that the Lord Jesus Christ compares to the grain of mustard seed as revealed in the scriptures is the share of every Christian because GOD is no respecter of persons with the only precision that if it tips over in the face of a situation and unbelief takes over then we are automatically in failure but otherwise we are victorious (Acts 10:34).

So every Christian receives the measure of faith at the new birth and a measure of faith can be added to solve a problem and then he removes it.
It must be understood that the measure of faith received at the new birth is not the grain of mustard seed, but as small as it is like a grain of mustard seed will move the mountain when there is no unbelief.

In the Bible, there are many cases but among them, we have retained those that illustrate this theme well:

  1. The case of Paul who resurrects Eutichus who fell dead from the third floor of the place where they were facing the other brothers who declared him dead;
  2. The case of Peter who walks on the water by faith because he sees Jesus Christ but immediately sinks into the water shortly after because he no longer sees Jesus and the winds rise (the opposition of faith and disbelief);
  3. The case of Lazarus and his resurrection by Jesus in the face of the disbelief of Martha and Mary his sisters through their actions; all this sufficiently demonstrating to us that there is always this struggle in our hearts: faith according to what GOD communicates to us through his word and disbelief coming from the things we hear from outside of us and which negatively influence us in the spiritual What do we choose then? Walk by faith and refuse disbelief in order to conquer every mountain or accept disbelief and be defeated?; this challenges our attitude when faced with information.

Thus, when faced with information, it is our attitude that determines everything and this is at stake when we release faith, it precedes us when faced with a situation (case of Paul in Acts 20 and Jesus Christ in John 11) hence the capital importance of listening, listening, listening to the good news of the word of God through the preaching of grace.

So beloved, let us reject disbelief and exercise faith to overcome all situations because in us lives the power of resurrection to overturn all mountains.

May the name of Jesus-Christ be glorified in our lives!
Amen
