JESUS CHRIST IS LORD
THEME: THIS IS WHY YOUR PRAYER IS NOT ANSWERED
Beloved in the Lord, the Christian life is a relationship between God and men (being in Christ); it is governed by prayer, which is the moment of receiving. Let us note from the outset that the prayer of the pagan cannot be answered.
So, the life of Christians should be in all happiness, enviable.
Considering that the Bible is our supreme authority, here is what Mt 7:7-8 says: "ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and it will be opened to him who knocks".
The problem is that our lives do not reflect what the Bible says, we pray without being answered.
In view of this state of affairs, the question arises: "Is God a liar?" The Bible's answer in Romans 3:4 "But let God be true and every man a liar, as it is written: "That you may be justified in your words, and may prevail when you are judged."
Since God is true, the problem of our prayers not being answered is at our level.
The keys that the Bible gives us are as follows:
- God is Spirit, therefore, he deals with the spirit;
- we also know that the Christian is a spirit that has a soul in a body;
- and the link between the Spirit of God and the spirit of the Christian is faith.
Furthermore, we must not ignore that the only fight that every Christian faces is the fight of faith.
It is on this field that the answer or not to our prayers takes place. When we do not have, it is because we have not received.
We must know that with God, as soon as we have the intention, he gives us.
We must believe that we have received and we will see the accomplishment.
We have the case of Daniel in the old covenant. In his case, he had not received right away because Satan had put himself through. In the new covenant, our prayers go through Jesus whom Satan cannot touch.
And also, in Jesus it is yes and amen.
And the last thing to remember is that we must pray according to the will of God. For example: God does not want the death of the sinner, and you pray for the death of your enemy. No! It will never work. In the case of enemies, we pray against the spirits that push them to do evil; for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spirits...
Beloved, we are members of the body of Christ, and God has always said yes to Jesus. Therefore, God has always said yes to all our prayers, so let us be grateful. To have the accomplishment, we must look by the spirit, faith. And have the assurance that God hears us.
We are blessed in the name of Jesus.
