JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
THEME: SICKNESS HAS NO POWER OVER YOU
Beloved in Christ, we are gods, so our normal state is to be healthy. However, it so happens that there are sick people among us. To know the cause, let us follow our guide, the Word.
Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. Furthermore, Romans 3:23 says: "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". So no one escapes. Above, it should be noted that sin gives death. Now, the pit (death) is the only thing that prevents the glory of God. Speaking of death, we know that sickness is its antechamber.
Let us consider Romans 3:23 again and ask ourselves this question: did the two-week-old baby, who falls ill, sin? The answer is no. As the Word does not lie, the sin in question is original sin, that of Adam.
However, the sins we commit daily are doors to illness.
Glory be to the Lord, our Father for his love, who gives the free gift of life in Jesus. Because he sent his Word to heal us and get us out of the pit. This Word is Jesus.
However, many remain sick because of their ignorance of what Jesus accomplished. As mentioned above, sin is the cause of illness (its root); as in the case of a tree, the roots must be cut to kill it.
Thus, to kill the disease, Jesus cut its root by forgiveness. This is why, when a sick person came before him, during his ministry, he first said: "your sins are forgiven", before speaking of healing. He thus followed the order established in the scriptures. So, as long as the Christian does not know that all his sins have been forgiven, he will always be sick.
Furthermore, as we are in Christ, we are all qualified to heal the sick and ourselves.
However, if we do not have compassion and a forgiving heart, we will not be able to heal others, and see ourselves.
It should be noted that God wants to heal all men, without exception.
Beloved, the key to healing is knowing and accepting that Jesus has forgiven all our sins, it is then that by faith, we will benefit from good health by his stripes and in all respects we will be prosperous.
In return, we must bless the Lord, without forgetting any of his benefits, namely Jesus and his work on the cross
We are blessed in the name of Jesus Christ.
