JESUS ​​CHRIST IS LORD.

THEME: THE JOYFUL HEART: A GOOD REMEDY.

Beloved, it is the good news of Jesus Christ that transforms our lives; in the same way it is when a heart is at peace in Jesus Christ that it is fulfilled according to what is written in Proverbs 17:22: that a joyful heart is a good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up the bones likewise in Proverbs 15:13 it is written that a joyful heart makes the face serene but when the heart is sad, the spirit is crushed hence the importance of always being joyful.

The only way to get there indefinitely and beyond all is to fully trust in Jesus Christ by recognizing the work he accomplished on the cross for us.

This is therefore largely sufficient for us because it is in Jesus Christ alone that we truly have joy and happiness to live. Moreover, we are recommended in the word of God to rejoice in the Lord.

Many Christians would benefit from making Jesus Christ the subject of their joy and seeing themselves delivered from frustrations, illnesses, pains, sadness, hatred, bitterness of life in general and the things of this world because all these things are ephemeral and perishable.

Now Jesus Christ paid the high price for our redemption and for our joy by making himself guilty for us as Isaiah 53:4-6 reveals to us, namely that the punishment that we deserved, Christ took it for us by giving us his peace so that all this no longer has any influence on us.

What an immense grace to know that Jesus Christ, son of GOD made this sacrifice for our salvation and our fulfillment! Nothing could therefore cancel this because we are justified by grace without the works of the law hence our full freedom in Jesus Christ.

Consequently, we are ourselves responsible for everything that happens to us and the thing we must do is to repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be delivered and restored: this is our joy.

In conclusion, let us understand that our joy must rest entirely on Jesus Christ because it is he who has wonderfully perfected all things in our lives. Let us always find a way to rejoice fully in Jesus Christ and to fully live our faith in fulfillment.

May the name of Jesus Christ be glorified in our lives!
