JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

THEME: HURRY UP, ENTER INTO REST.

Beloved, the word of GOD reveals to us in Hebrews 4:10 that he who enters into the rest of God has also ceased from his works, as God did from his.

Indeed, GOD rested from his works on the seventh day and it is in rest that there is blessing, because rest prepares for production. This simply means that it is when we are at rest that we are recharged by the Lord and we can thus benefit from the blessings of heaven.

On the other hand, if we spend time running around pursuing many things at once or stressing too much in the situations that happen to us or feeling sorry for ourselves about what we do not have in relation to our desires, then we will always be in torment and rest for us will be very difficult.

We will therefore benefit, as Christians, from resting on the accomplished work of Jesus Christ on the cross without being too hasty or quick to obtain certain graces that we ask the Lord in prayer.

On our own, we cannot achieve anything except by the grace of GOD; in other words, it would be like taking the glory of the Lord.

Let us therefore understand that rest is doing something restful or it is an activity oriented so that we align ourselves with what Jesus did by faith.

In the case of illness for example, we must believe that we have healing by his stripes otherwise, it is possible that we remain in illness. Such as who wants to compare himself to others because he is not married and yet the Lord Jesus has his timing for the glory of the Father to be revealed.

This is why we must be patient in striving to enter into God's rest (Hebrews 4:11) whatever we are experiencing.

In this context therefore, we remember that slowness is sweet! Speed is deadly! Gentleness is quick!

In conclusion, let us remember that our rest is Jesus Christ.

Let us remain abundantly blessed in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen
