JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

THEME: FROM LISTENING TO VICTORY.

Beloved, in our Christian walk and in our lives, we receive all things (heavenly blessings) by faith.

Only he who listens and believes receives the favor of GOD in rest, and not by doing works (Hebrews 4:2). Indeed, we can do nothing of ourselves to obtain anything. It is seduction to say that we can fight the enemy without taking refuge in Jesus Christ.

To be victorious, it is necessary to listen to the word of Christ, the good news, the word of grace of GOD because it is it which makes faith germinate in us. And to do this, the Lord raises up workers, his servants, to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, the work of Christ crucified to bless his people (Romans 10:14). This is why it is those who tirelessly listen to the word who are blessed. This word is comparable to water that washes and transforms lives. The preaching of the word of Christ is therefore the greatest miracle that the Christian receives!

Moreover, this was done with the Lord Jesus Christ himself who, after preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, made God's people redeemed and saved because his words were confirmed by signs and miracles.

This is why Ephesians 2:8 reveals to us that it is by grace that we are saved; and this does not come from us but from GOD. And Acts 3:16 shows us that it was by faith that a man lame from birth was healed before all, by dint of listening with faith to the preaching of the gospel of Jesus crucified. Clearly, we understand that it is by the foolishness of preaching that there are blessings of all kinds in the local assembly.

It is therefore very important, if not necessary, to always listen to the word of Christ, the New Testament, to be blessed or delivered from a situation. Moreover, some blessings require that we hear again and again, and well beyond the preaching of the gospel of peace and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to receive salvation and the favor of GOD in all respects.

We must therefore be careful what we listen to, and not to lose the word that we have received from the Lord Jesus through the mouth of his anointed ones. Indeed, the enemy will always be there, prowling around us to steal, slaughter and destroy (John 10:10) what we have received as the word of the Lord (Mark 4:14-15) in the preaching of his servants.

Ultimately, let us cultivate listening to the word of Christ by asking for a "listening heart" like Solomon. Beloved, this is how we will be delivered from many difficult situations in our lives by remaining in a position of rest, our eyes turned to the work of the cross by faith. Thus, we will accomplish exploits with the Lord Jesus going from glory to glory.

Let us remain abundantly blessed in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen
